Can anyone help me figure out how to create a report showing Bank Deposits by type? I want a report that shows me all Check deposits for the month, all COD deposits for the month, etc.

This Report writing seems very complicated.

I find that searches are much easier to work with than reports. Could you just use a Transaction search, and add the Payment Method as a field on the Results tab?

You might want to try a transaction saved search that will filter a Deposit with Cash and Check Payment Method.

-List > Search > Saved Searches > New > Transaction

-Go to Criteria tab > Filter subtab

-Select “Type” = “Deposit”

-Click Set

-Select “Payment Method” = “Cash” and “Check”

-Go to Results tab > Columns subtab

-Select Payment Method

-Click Set

-Click Preview or Save
