I know it’s not possible to combine Sales Orders and Invoices in a single Netsuite report so wondering what others have done to get around this.

Our web and catalog channels generate sales orders; our retail channel generates invoices.

We need a true picture of demand in the format of a Netsuite report; a saved search doesn’t look professional enough.

There are a few options in the Saved search that will help clean up the look. The first is change the search style to “report” and the other is to use the pivot table function just make sure you have the customer name and customer internal ID in your results if going the route of the pivot report. From what I have heard the Reporting tool is going away in the future and has not been enhanced or improved in a few years. The plan as I understand is to combine the searches and reports to have the best of both worlds. While that is supposedly on the road map it is far down the road. I hope this helps. If not please provide a sample of the search you are trying to run along with the criteria and results lists.

We did it doing an export using ‘created from’ but you need to go throw SO->PO->Invoice. Also you can split shipping and handling cost to know exactly the revenue of each item. We did it before, let me know if you need help on this

    Thanks
