    Hi All,

I am facing a problem generating the balance sheet and the income statement.

From my users, they can do filter of -no department- in the balance sheet and income statement before.

But now, the selection of -no department- have gone.

The only changes is we have move to use OneWorld.

Did it make the different for the filtering?

We have got the way to select the -no department- to the trial balance. but we cannot select the no department in the B/S and I/S.

Did any of you have this issue too?

    Thanks and best regards,

I was able to verify that this is reproducible in my own Oneworld account.

-No Department- is available as a column if we set the Balance Sheet Summary and Income Statement Summary reports footer filter Column = Department.

This is not available as a filter though for the default Department filter found under Customize > Filters tab.

What your user needs to do if they wish to see the values for -No Department- is to either:

    1. Set Column = Department (Class/Location) in the report footer or

    2. Customize Report > Filters tab > click Department/Class/Location field > set Filter = Not Equal To > click Select Multiple > choose all the Department/Class/Location values > click Done > click Done or

    3. Add another Department/Class/Location filter from the Financial folder of the Filters tab

I did file Defect#335934. I created case#2152625 for you and tagged this to that defect.

Another way to get those values under -No Department- is to customize the report and add another filter.

You may go to Reports>Financials>Income Statement (or Profit and Loss) > Customize Summary > Filters.

Expand Financial Folder > Department Folder > Name

Set the Filter to be equal to or not equal to – No Department -, depending on the requirement, and then click Preview to review results.

My theory is that, the default Department footer filter could be sourced from the actual list of departments that could be selected from transactions.

If you go to Setup>Company>Departments> -No Department- is found here, as it does not really exist.

-No Department- shows up on reports to categorize transactions that have Department field = NULL.

I hope this also helps as an alternate solution.
