All,

I currently have a LARGE list of product models in a drop-down field that is sourced from a custom record with in NetSuite. I have received the following request:

-When a model number is selected, a clickable URL to a KB article will appear

The above is not generally an issue, however, there is a different URL for each model number. ANY ideas or best practices you could offer in this regard would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Steve,

I would set the URL on the custom record itself, then source it into the current record. You may be able to accomplish this with a custom field which is set to not store the value and sources the value from the linked custom record. Alternatively you could do this through workflow/script.

I would set the URL on the custom record itself, when sourced ‘LARGE list of product models’, source the URL too.
