Has anyone encountered this error on attempting to execute a simple query over the Netsuite ODBC driver?

I have one Win2k Server where the driver works well; no errors. But on attempting to use an installation on a fresh 2003 Server and a fresh 2k Server (using ASP classic), I get this error message:

“Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error ‘80004005’

    [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver’s SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed ”

I’ve hit the search engines with this error and all of the references are to Oracle client installs with permissions problems.

As an attempt at resolution I have replicated the permissions between the working machine and the non-working machines, and the error persists.

    Many thanks for your thoughts,

    Steve

Have you installed SSL after installed drivers? I faced this problem but after installed the SSL piece which is suggested by NetSuite before downloading the drivers it worked well….

    Hope this helps…

Thanks! A quick uninstall and re-install, with OpenSSL going first, did the trick.
