    Hi All,

I’m using Advanced PDF Printing to a reasonably advanced degree, however I’m struggling finding the correct reference for what I hoped was a very simple item of data.

I want to put the Employee who raised the PO on to the PO print, but I cannot for the life of me figure out the correct field call.

    record.employee, record.createdby give me nothing…

Is there a reference document for the available fields… I appreciate we can use the internalid lookup on the hover help, but you try getting an employee field into a PO form so you can look at it!!!

    Any help gratefully received.

    Hey Paul,

I don’t think the PO keeps a “created by” field. One way you could get around this pretty easily would be to add a custom “Created By” Transaction Body field that defaults to the current user. Then you could use that in your advanced PDF printout.

Sounds great, thanks for the reply, however in the selection for the Validation / Defaulting, it’s not clear to me which field would be the current user?

Try “Requestor” – this is what I used to get this value on my PO PDF

I can’t see that in the drop down list of fields, can you show me how – screengrab? It’d be most appreciated.

In Validation & Defaulting tab, under the Dynamic Default dropdown, there should be an option for “Current User”.
