karennHi all,
Is it possible to add a column to the components list of a kit/pkg via suitescript. Can’t seem to do it via UI like can with a transaction so was wondering if this is possible via suitescript. See functions to add field to sublists if creating a new sublist in a suitelet but nothing so far for an existing item form.
Thanks!
Karen

JCiroccoWe have created a new sublist search with the fields we needed and added that to a custom tab on the Kit & Assembly forms.

karennWe are just trying to add one column to show qty available for each component along with everything else but may not be possible. May just have to create a new sublist.
Thanks John. May just have to try your way.

JCiroccoOnce you create a search with the results you want, making sure you check the search definition bux Available as Sublist
Customization -> Forms -> Sublists will allow you to attach you search to an existing tab on a kit or assembly (you select) form.
Click the item tab
– select your search
– Give it a label
– Select the tab you want (probably Inventory???)
– check the record types you want it to apply to.
[EDIT] If you want a Custom Tab to hand the search off of, Customization -> Forms -> Subtabs

karennNo luck. Can’t even get the search to show up to select. Checked again this morning to make sure it was not some timing issue and still not there.
Keeping it on the Purchasing/Inventory tab is what we would want of we cannot add the field to the already existing components sublist.
