I have a workflow that I am building to allow me to quickly fill out certain data based on a button click. The workflow is on Purchase Order, set to On Create and Before Record Load. The first state is the Add Button action. The action has no conditions to fulfill blocking it. When I go to enter a new purchase order, the button is showing however it is grayed out and not selectable. What am I missing?

Hi bradsimpson, just a thought, but is your button linked to a Transition or Action?

Hi bradsimpson,

I believe you have not attached state one with state two, and if you have connected you have not defined the transition will perform after click on button. As no action is based on that button that’s why it’s not working.

Hey webbee and k_dunc. I do have a transition set up from State 1 to State 2. The transition is set to Execute on Button. Though I may not have set it up properly, this is my first attempt at transitions and multi-state workflows. Screenshot of the transition and how the button looks in a new PO form below:
