I am trying to customize the Sales Tax Analysis report and would like to exclude all transactions that include a specific item.

This is possible using saved search by selecting filter ‘Item On Any Line’, but I can’t locate it on reports. Using saved search is a workaround but some columns on the report is not available on saved searches such as Total Sales, Taxable Sales, Non Taxable Sales, Tax Vendor, etc.

Anyone who knows how to accomplish this?

The Sales Tax Analysis report has a Item filter under the Filters tab > Transaction Dimension folder.

This allows us to set Filter = Not Equal To then choose the Item(s) to exclude under the Select Multiple field.

I tried this in my own NetSuite account I was able to see a difference under the Amount columns of when I retain and exclude items using the filter.
