Hello, we are looking at a 3rd party vendor for a custom app they have that is installed via a bundle. However, the bundle is not linked to SuiteApps. I’m wondering if they are required to be part of the SuiteCloud Developer Network or anything in order to upload a bundle? Does NetSuite do any kind of vetting of the vendors?

yes any vendor can distribute their bundles via bundler. SuiteCloud Developer Network offers additional benefits such as listing your application on SuiteApp.com and more. One of them is a “Built for NetSuite” badge that helps solutions meet the same level of standards for security, data privacy and overall quality.

Thank you for your response – that was what I was afraid of. Does anyone else have concerns working using apps developed by vendors that aren’t part of the SDN?
