Since 2016.1 we have been running into an issue where transfer order line item data will periodically come up missing from our saved searches. Searches have been revised, re-created, blown up and rebuild, etc. All to the same result, after putting the trouble shooting onto the order entry team is was found that any changes to line items after saving the TO (regardless of approval status) results in those lines not populating on any saved searches. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I’m not sure if this is the issue you are experiencing but if line items are changed on a linked record, the link between the lines on that order and the corresponding record become broken. Because of this, the search may not recognize those line items if you are not searching for that particular record type. For instance, if you specify transfer orders in your criteria but are also looking for the line items on the fulfillment or receipt, the link between those records being broken may cause the search to not pull in those lines.

We use TOs for orders to our retail locations, the issue is coming up when running searches for production to build the products that head from our facilities to them, so we’re only looking at the TO since the downstream transactions haven’t happened yet.
